The Dzongkhag HRD conducted a one-day induction program for the newly recruited Employees on Contract in the Education and Health Sectors. The recruits included:
1. Wardens
2. Drivers (Gewog & Hospital)
3. Security Guards
4. Wardboys
5. ESP and GSP staff (Dzongkhag, Education, and Health Sectors)
The program covered key areas such as:
* Overview of Civil Service Reforms.
* Civil Service Code of Conduct and Administrative Discipline.
* Job Responsibilities and Accountability Framework.
* Performance Management System (PMS).
* Entitlements and Benefits for Civil Servants.
* Advocacy on Go-To-Person for Sexual Harassment, Driglam Namzha, and Public Service Delivery Standards, delivered by the Senior HR Officer.
The Induction Program was graced by Dasho Dzongrab Gom and respective Sector Heads, who shared their valuable insights and guidance with the new recruits.
In his keynote address, Dasho Dzongrab Gom emphasized the importance of the participants’ roles and responsibilities in schools and hospitals, highlighting their contribution to delivering effective and efficient public services. He also stressed the significance of adhering to the Civil Service Code of Conduct and upholding Driglam Namzha both in professional and personal lives.
