Paro Dzongkhag Administration convened a Staff Coordination Meeting to strengthen sector coordination, enhance performance management, and improve the quality of public service delivery across all sectors.

During the meeting, Dasho Dzongdag and Dasho Dzongrab underscored the importance of preparing clear, results-oriented Annual Deliverables supported by well-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They emphasized that every staff member should have a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes so that all efforts are aligned with the Dzongkhag’s development priorities and contribute to achieving meaningful results.

The HR Section presented the Performance Management System (PMS) and Staff Welfare Scheme (SWS) for review and discussion. The session focused on ensuring that the performance assessment matrices, guidelines, and implementation modalities are consistent, fair, practical, and uniformly applied across all sectors.

In the closing remarks, both the Dashos reminded all staff to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, professionalism, and mutual support in delivering public services. They emphasized that the success of the Dzongkhag depends on collective ownership, effective teamwork, and a shared commitment to achieving common goals.

Dasho further urged all the staff to shift their focus from merely completing activities to delivering tangible outcomes and lasting impacts. Every sector and Gewog was encouraged to plan strategically, collaborate closely, and implement development initiatives and public services in a seamless, effective, efficient, and citizen-centric manner. By working together with a shared vision and commitment, the Dzongkhag can achieve greater development outcomes and improve the well-being of the people of Paro.
