The Dzongkhag Administration conducted a one-day Induction Program (Onboarding Program) for newly recruited employees on 7 September 2026. The program was organized by the Human Resource Division (HRD) in collaboration with the Education Sector and was attended by the respective Sector Heads.
The program was attended by the following newly appointed employees:
1. School Administrative Assistants – 2
2. Cleaners – 2
3. School Cook – 1
The induction program covered key areas essential for their effective transition into the Civil Service, including:
– Job Responsibilities and Accountability
– Civil Service Code of Conduct and Administrative Discipline
– Entitlements and Benefits of Civil Servants
– Go-To-Person for Sexual Harassment
– Driglam Namzha
– Public Service Delivery Standards
The sessions and advocacy on these important areas were delivered by the Sr. HR Officer, with emphasis on professional conduct, accountability, workplace ethics, and the importance of upholding the values and standards of the Civil Service.
On behalf of the Dzongkhag Administration, the Chief DEO warmly welcomed the newly appointed employees by offering welcome khadars and sharing valuable insights on their roles and responsibilities. The Chief DEO highlighted that every position—whether Administrative Assistant, Cook, or Cleaner—plays an important role in ensuring effective service delivery and creating a conducive environment for nurturing thousands of children and shaping their future.
