The 5th Dzongkhag Tshogdu (DT) session of the second Local Government (LG) was held on 29th November, 2018 at the Dzongkhag Tshogdu hall. 

Gups and Mangmi's of ten gewogs, the core members of DT were present to deliberate on issues pertaining to their respective gewogs and other relevant issues. 

Members of Parliament of both National Assembly (NA) and National Council (NC) of Lamgong_Wangchang Constituency were also present during the DT session. 

Dasho Dzongda, Dasho Dzongrab, relevant Regional heads, Superintendent of Royal Bhutan Police Paro and Dzongkhag Sector heads were present during the DT session as observers. 

The DT began with the offering of traditional Marchang and Zhugdrel_Phuensum. After that the DT Chairman gave an opening speech. He offered congratulations to the elected members of both NA and NC and opened the DT session for deliberation of various issues.

The DT members deliberated on issues related to Road Safety and Transport Authority (RSTA), Agriculture, Land, Forestry, Livestock, Finances, Municipality, Aircraft, Waste Management, etc.
