Starting today the  Dzongkhag Civil Registration and Census Sector will carry out the Annual Dzongkhag Census for the year 2018-2019 from Naja Gewog followed by rest of the gewogs. The Census Program will end on 8th January 2019.

The Annual Census is being carried out to create awareness about Civil Registration and Census Services, process Birth and Death registration, updation of Head Of Household (HoH), check and verify family member status, compilation of census drop out cases, etc.

It is mandatory for a family member to attend the Annual Census Program in order to avoid future complications regarding census.
