Phudup Goenpa is located under Dogar Gewog and lies some few kilometers away from Chuuzom. A feeder road connects the Goenpa to the main road and it is an uphill ride.
The Goenpa is two storied. The first floor has statues of Tshepamed and Duesum Sangay as main statues and the top floor has Guru Tshengay statues as the main statues. The main Nangtens of the Goenpa are the very sacred Guru Rinpoche’s Uuzha, Zhablham, Drilbu and a Dorjee. The Nangtens are on display once a year on "Lhabab Duechen:.
His Eminence Gangtey Trulku is the patron of Phudup Goenpa. There are about 20 young monks, a Principal, Vice-Principal and a teacher who looks after the daily affairs of the Goenpa and the young monks.
