Announcement (17.03.2022)

In addition to the DC19TF’s Announcement dated March 16, 2022, relaxation shall be extended as follows with effect from March 18, 2022:

1. Intra-Dzongkhag movement

- Gewog clusters are lifted. Intra-Dzongkhag movement shall be allowed without e-Pass. However, movement in and out of red clusters/red building/red house shall be restricted.

2. Inter-Dzongkhag movement

- Movement out of Paro Dzongkhag shall be allowed with antigen test (negative) and CPMS registration. Travelers must produce antigen test report (negative) in hard copy at the Check Post.

3. Taxis

- Taxis shall be allowed to operate within the Dzongkhag with the same family/cohort passengers.

4. Opening of salon, beauty parlour, & shoe repair shops

- Salons, beauty parlours, and shoe repair shops shall be allowed to open.

5. Containment mode

- Except for critical health staff, all containment shall be lifted.

The DC19TF would like to urge the general public to observe Covid-19 health and safety protocols at all times.
