Hon'ble Opposition Leader made his first visit to Paro Dzongkhag today.

During the visit, His Excellency met with the employees of Dzongkhag Administration and Local Government Officials in the morning hours.

Several pertinent issues were shared and raised during the meeting. His Excellency touched upon the roles and responsibilities of the opposition party at the helm of nation building and working together hand in hand with the elected government. Issues with regard to 13th Five Year Plan, construction and timber approvals, budget constraints, land and disaster management, pension policies were appraised to the Opposition Leader. Proposal to provide lunch for the dayscholars at all the day schools was also deliberated and supported.

Later, His Excellency will meet with the Business Community and visit Yoezerling School.
