In the afternoon of 13th February, 2019, a general staff coordination meeting was held in the Dzongkhag DT hall. The main purpose of coordinating such meeting was to address issues, problems, suggestions that may arise while carrying out day to day official works by the Dzongkhag Staff.  It was also done to familiarize Dzongkhag staff across sectors and discuss not only official but personal problems a staff may face. 

Dasho Dzongda presided over the meeting with the Dzongkhag staff. A general staff meeting is very important as all should work together as a team to steer developmental activities on the right track, towards meeting Dzongkhag's vision/mission/target, Dasho said. He also mentioned it is very necessary to provide seamless public service delivery at all times. He added that staff should maintain proper documentation at all times.

In addition, Dasho relayed key points meant for civil servants from HM's speech of the 111th National Day Celebration. Dasho reiterated that it is very important to keep in mind HM's speech, especially key points such as civil servants should be proactive and not complacent, should make judicious use of resources and work towards achieving self-sufficiency. 

The staff raised issues/suggestions pertaining to office cleaning, feedback forum, toilets, Individual Work Plan (IWP), Staff Welfare Scheme (SWS), information on salary increment. The meeting concluded and Dasho said that the 2nd General Staff Meeting will be held in the month of October.
